Best of Show in Worthington for Hank Hall!

Artisans Road Trip member Hank Hall from Spirit Lake has received Best of Show at the Nobles County Art Center's Annual Area Art Exhibit in Worthington, Minnesota. He received the award on May 20 during the closing reception for the show.

Juror Bobbie Alsgaard-Lien, retired art instructor at Minnesota West Community and Technical College, selected Hall's "Park Place" for its "ingenuity" and "for creating a beautiful story with your wife's (roller) skate." The piece combines Hall's interests in ceramic teapots, painting, and mixed media sculpture.

Another A.R.T. member Lissa Potter from Spirit Lake received a merit award for her ceramic urn.

Hall is currently creating his work in his home studio on East Lake Okoboji and invites the public to stop by for a visit on Oct. 13 and 14 during the A.R.T. or call 712-330-6006 for an appointment.
