Accepting 2018 Applications until Feb. 16th!

There is still plenty of time to submit your application for the upcoming Artisans Road Trip year, but don't delay too much longer as the deadline is Friday, February 16th!

A.R.T. is a powerful networking and marketing opportunity for the artists who participate year after year. In addition to the official October weekend event (Sat, Oct 13 & Sun, Oct 14), artists also benefit from year-round advertising with thousands of brochures distributed; a regularly updated blog; 24/7 website; plus group gallery exhibitions throughout the area! Group exhibitions are a fantastic way to introduce your artwork to local galleries (which can lead to many opportunities for individual artists later on, like solo shows or classes in addition to new potential buyers). And for the first time, this year A.R.T. will have a show at the Octagon Center for the Arts in Ames, IA!

The Artisans Road Trip is organized and run by artists for artists. Together we work to increase art exposure, introducing new art styles to the community and new customers to local artists... AND WE WANT YOU TO JOIN US!

Please feel free to drop us a line at ArtisansRoadTrip@gmail.com, or give Haley McAndrews (President, A.R.T.) a call at (320) 237-7351 with any questions you may have.

OH, AND DON'T FORGET:
You can now email your three images to the official A.R.T. email address at ArtisansRoadTrip@gmail.com instead of mailing a disk or USB drive in with your application and fee!

Apply today to be a part of A.R.T. 2018!

Applications have been sent via snail mail to current and past participants of the Artisans Road Trip. But if you haven't received yours within a few days - please click above to find a printable version of the Prospectus!

October may seem far away, but now is the time to apply to be a part of the fifteenth annual Artisans Road Trip! Applications need to be postmarked by February 16th, 2018 in order to be accepted. Why so early in the year? Quite simply, it takes a lot of time and behind the scenes work to make a great event like A.R.T. happen. Once we have our membership finalized, then we get to work on designing the brochure, updating the website, and beginning to get the word out about all of our artists!

Why should you be a part of A.R.T.? For the artisans involved, the Road Trip is a powerful networking and marketing opportunity. In addition to the October weekend event (Sat, Oct 13 & Sun, Oct 14), participating artists also benefit from year-round advertising with thousands of brochures distributed; a regularly updated blog; 24/7 website; plus group gallery exhibitions in Worthington (MN), Ames, Spencer, and Clear Lake!

The Artisans Road Trip is organized and run by artists for artists. Together we work to increase art exposure, introducing new art style to the community and new customers to local artists.

AND WE WANT YOU TO JOIN US!

Changes in the New Year!

Hello friends of the Artisans Road Trip!

2018 marks the fifteenth year for A.R.T., and with it comes some exciting changes! First, as you can see, we have a new blog! After many years of time and hard work our previous blogger and webmaster, Bruce Morrison, has stepped down from his position on the board. We cannot say THANK YOU enough to him for everything he has contributed to A.R.T.! The former blog, http://artisansroadtrip.blogspot.com will be kept as an archive, but will no longer be updated. Instead, please continue to follow A.R.T. news here at http://artisans-road-trip.blogspot.com .

In addition to a new blog, we also have a new Facebook page! It can be found at www.facebook.com/ArtisansRoadTrip/ . Please "Like" and Share for many opportunities to find out what's going on throughout the year with A.R.T. and its members.

We also have a new email address (ArtisansRoadTrip@gmail.com) where you can direct any questions or comments. This also means that artists can submit their application images through email instead of sending a disk along with the membership fee and application!

Lastly, the applications for A.R.T. 2018 will be mailed out in a few days' time, and once we have a downloadable .PDF of it available on the website, we will post a link here!
