A.R.T. Deadline Last Call - Apply Today!

The 16th annual Artisans Road Trip (A.R.T.) is looking for artists for the coming year!  The deadline for applications has been extended to tomorrow - Friday, March 1st.  All disciplines and mediums are accepted – painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, jewelry, fabric, wood, photography, pottery, and more!

All artists in the region are encouraged to apply for the upcoming 2019 season!  For the artisans involved, the Road Trip is a powerful networking and marketing opportunity.  A.R.T. is organized and run by artists for artists.  Together we work to increase art exposure, introducing new art styles to the community and new customers to local artists.  If you have already applied, please help us spread the word to other artists you know who may be interested!

Why should you be a part of A.R.T.? For the artisans involved, the Road Trip is a powerful networking and marketing opportunity. In addition to the October weekend event (Sat, Oct 12 & Sun, Oct 13), participating artists also benefit from year-round advertising with thousands of brochures distributed; a regularly updated blog; 24/7 website; plus group gallery exhibitions in Worthington (MN), Storm Lake, Spencer, and Clear Lake!

The Artisans Road Trip is organized and run by artists for artists. Together we work to increase art exposure, introducing new art style to the community and new customers to local artists.

AND WE WANT YOU TO JOIN US!

Questions? Feel free to drop us a line at ArtisansRoadTrip@gmail.com, or give Haley McAndrews (President, A.R.T.) a call at (320) 237-7351.

DON'T FORGET:

You can email your three images to the official A.R.T. email address at ArtisansRoadTrip@gmail.com instead of mailing a disk or USB drive in (but application forms and entry fee must still be mailed)!

Denice Peters' Artwork featured by Dick Blick!

The above painting, entitled "Light My Way", was used by the national art supply store Dick Blick as a header for one of their emails on January 28th, 2019. The painting was made by ART Member Denice Peters, from Denison IA!  The company had contacted Peters a week prior to ask her permission to use her artwork.

"It was a nice surprise to see it in their email!" said Peters. "I didn't know when they were going to use it."

To view more of Denice Peters' artwork, you can check out her website: DenicePeters.com
